After a leisurely breakfast we packed and drove back from El Chalten to El Calafate. The mountains were so clear this morning, we had to stop several more times to appreciate them!
Then it was off to the airport to return the car and head back to Buenos Aires.
It was raining and dark when we arrived in Buenos Aires so we grabbed a taxi and had a nice dinner in the hotel. It was a long day and for some reason took a lot out of us.
Tomorrow we finally get the chance to tour around Buenos Aires – we have been here three times now but have not stayed long enough to see the sights!
