Having had enough of wineries for this trip, we took a nature walk at the Marais de Taligny just up the road in La Roche Clermault.
This is one of the largest wetlands in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Park.
The 4.5 km walk took us beside a pretty stream, through marshland and past the local crop fields.
Later in the afternoon we headed back to the chateau to relax and start organizing for our return to Paris.
